Created by a new generation of visionary storytellers, this anthology reflects the diverse experiences, voices, and artistic innovation, shaping the future of storytelling. The project celebrates Warner Bros. Pictures cinematic legacy by inviting six rising filmmakers to reinterpret classic films from the studio in 20-minute shorts. The selected filmmakers — B. Monét, Robin Cloud, Regan Linton, Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz, Monica Moore-Suriyage, and Taietsarón:sere "Tai" Leclaire — collaborated with Warner Bros. Pictures and six key partner organizations: Visual Communications, Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, Urbanworld, Sundance Indigenous Lab, Outfest, and ReelAbilities Film Festival.
The shorts offer fresh takes on timeless titles including A STAR IS BORN, CALAMITY JANE, JACK AND THE BEANSTALK, THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, and REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE — reframed to speak to new generations and communities around the globe.
