HBO subscribers in Latin America can now enjoy more of HBO’s exclusive content in “offline” mode, through HBO GO’s new temporary download feature
Miami, FL – August 23, 2019 – HBO GO’s newly announced feature allowing the temporary downloads of series and movies, now counts with thousands of additional HBO titles. Subscribers can easily download them directly to their mobile devices to enjoy them whenever they want, including the seven seasons of the comedy series and winner of 17 Emmys®, VEEP, and the series recognized by many as the best television series in history THE SOPRANOS, in addition to movies such as INCEPTION, THE MATRIX, and GLADIATOR.
The functionality allows thousands of titles from HBO GO to be easily downloaded to a smartphone or tablet while the device is online, simply looking for and clicking on the “Download” icon on the hero carousel or the detail page of the HBO GO application. Once the download is complete, subscribers will be able to review their titles under the “MY DOWNLOADS” section of the app and enjoy their content on the go, minimizing data consumption.
Subscribers will be able to download up to 15 HBO GO titles at any time, on up to three different devices. Each title can be downloaded up to two times, with the feature only available after the free trial period. Subscribers will have the following content viewing options: up to 30 days after downloading or up to 48 hours after starting to view the program. Users will not be able to view downloaded content if the subscription has expired, or if the content is no longer available on the platform.

HBO GO is available for subscription through Apple and Google digital stores, or as part of a TV subscription where subscribers have free unlimited access to HBO GO anywhere, and anytime.
HBO GO can be accessed through multiple devices, including smartphones and tablets with iOS and Android, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, and can also be streamed to the TV using Chromecast.
