Available on the platform starting September 25, the production starring Daniel Rocha and Caroline Abras presents the supernatural atmosphere of the fictitious Vale Sereno
São Paulo, September 05, 2022 - HBO Max releases the trailer for VALE DOS ESQUECIDOS (The Forgotten Valley), which premieres on the HBO channel and the streaming platform on September 25. Directed by Fabinho Mendonça and Daniel Lieff, the series is the first national suspense production for HBO Max and was inspired by the misty climate of Paranapiacaba (SP), where it was recorded. The Victorian gothic style, abandoned buildings and local stories lend an atmosphere of mystery to the production.
In the 10-episode thriller, a group of young people get lost during a weekend hike and, faced with the risks encountered in the forest, they seek shelter in a village hidden under a constant fog that is not on the maps: the Serene Valley.
What they could not imagine is that it is a cursed place, with no exit and no communication with the rest of the world, where the hands of the clock have stopped moving. While trying to understand what actually happened and what holds them in that mysterious - and in a way, magical - place with supernatural phenomena, the youngsters will find themselves in the middle of a dark secret that has remained hidden for more than a century.
