FROM THE THEATER TO YOUR HOME: the world of magic is even closer
MIAMI, FL, May 23, 2022 – Next Monday, May 30, FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE, the latest film in the Harry Potter, universe arrives to HBO Max. This is the franchise’s third installment, and it joins the rest of the classics from the saga about the world’s most beloved wizard, which are already available on the platform.
The plot features characters that fans already know from Hogwarts, such as Albus Dumbledore, as well as some never-before-seen characters that will win over the heart of any magic lover. One of them is Vicência Santos, a witch played by Brazilian actress Maria Fernanda Cândido.
We continue following the adventures of Newt Scamander, who this time is summoned by Albus Dumbledore in the fight against the villain Gellert Grindelwald. The professor knows that the mighty dark wizard is moving to take control of the Wizarding World. Unable to stop him alone, he enlists magizoologist, Newt, to lead a team of intrepid wizards, witches and a courageous "Muggle" baker on a dangerous quest, where they encounter fantastic beasts old and new and come into conflict with Grindelwald's growing legion of followers.
But what Newt's group doesn't know is that Grindelwald will pit the Wizarding World against the Muggle world. As the world of magic grows more divided, Dumbledore must decide how long he’ll remain on the sidelines of the coming war.
FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE is directed by David Yates and stars Jude Law as Alvo Dumbledore, Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald and Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander. The production will join the Warner Bros. film catalog available on HBO Max, shortly after its release in theatres.
